Founded in 1908, Forte dei Marmi has participated in four Serie C championships, the last of which in the 1947-1948 season.
In 1970 he obtained promotion to Serie D, then playing this championship for two seasons. In 1973, after only one year of promotion (then the fifth Italian category), he was promoted again to Serie D, remaining only one season.
After more than three decades of regional amateur championships (First Category, Promotion and Excellence), he returned to Serie D in 2006, remaining there until the end of the competition, before relegating to Excellence. In this category, the Nerazzurri remained until 2011 when, after reaching the third last place in the standings, they were relegated to the Promotion through the play outs. In the 2011-2012 Tuscany promotion he reached the last place in group A and then went down to the First Category.
However, a few months later, in the summer of 2012, the Nerazzurri merged with the team from the nearby town of Querceta, creating the Real Forte Querceta Amateur Sports Union, thus continuing to participate in the 2012-2013 Tuscany Promotion.
At the end of the aforementioned season, the new bianconerazzurri (with the white of Quercetana tradition) were saved only thanks to the victory of the play out. They got more luck the following year, with the Excellence achieved, and the following season they did not reach the second consecutive promotion only because of the defeat in the play off lost against Camaiore. Not bad, because in 2016 came the first place and the consequent Serie D, a category in which Real Forte Querceta still plays.
